Ball Transfer Units are available in a complete variety of types ranging in ball sizes from 1 inch diameter to 1-1/2 inches in diameter, and metric diameters from 15.88 mm to 44.45 mm. They are a great help in rotating and turning loads with ease on conveyors, or in various material handling applications.
Mounting types available include Stud Mount, Flange Mount, Pipe Mount, and Press Fit. Ball materials available include Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Nylon mounted in housings fabricated of either Zinc Plated Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel.

This miniature stud mount unit is constructed of solid CNC machined case hardened carbon steel with a stamped carbon steel top cover. Units are available with any configuration of carbon steel, stainless steel and nylon. Can be utilized ball up or ball down.

All steel ball transfers with your choice of stud sizes. Foam sealed and lubricated to prevent the entry of foreign material increases the life of the unit. The 1-inch diameter main ball rotates on (80) 1/8-inch diameter support balls. The all stainless steel SMS unit is perfect for food processing plants and corrosive environments. The 1-inch diameter nylon main ball is ideal for non-marking applications. Can be utilized ball up or ball down.
